How We Manufacture Medical Folding Beds: Full Production Steps | FUDA MEDICAL
Discover the full production process of our medical folding beds: raw steel tube, bending, welding, sandblasting, pickling phosphating, powder coating, assembly, labeling and packing. Durable hospital folding beds for clinics and care facilities.
ery sturdy, reliable medical folding bed we deliver comes from a rigorous, step-by-step manufacturing process. Today, we take you behind the scenes of our factory to see how raw metal tubes transform into finished hospital and care beds. It all starts with raw materials. We select high-quality steel pipes as the base material, which guarantees excellent load-bearing capacity and long service life for the beds. Next comes tube bending. Using professional bending equipment, straight steel tubes are precisely shaped into the curved frames, headboard and footboard structures that match our bed design. Every bend is controlled accurately to ensure consistent dimensions for later assembly. After bending, we move to welding. Skilled welders join the formed steel parts together. Solid, clean welds are critical here — they lock the whole frame structure firmly, avoiding loose joints and ensuring safety for end users. Once welding is finished, surface treatment begins. First is sandblasting, which removes rust, oxide layers and welding slag from the steel surface. Then we carry out pickling and phosphating. This process cleans the metal thoroughly and creates a protective phosphate film. This film greatly improves the adhesion of the paint coating and prevents rust from forming underneath. The next key stage is powder coating (spraying). The pre-treated frames go into our spraying workshop. We apply durable electrostatic powder coating. The white coating you see on our finished beds is smooth, scratch-resistant and easy to clean, perfectly suited for hygienic medical environments. When the coated frames are fully cured, we start assembly. Workers fit all components: bed frames, guardrails, supporting legs and connecting fittings. Every screw and fitting is tightened and checked, to make sure the folding mechanism works smoothly, locks securely and opens/closes without jamming. After assembly and full quality inspection, we move to labelling. Our staff stick specification labels on each bed frame. The labels record product information, specifications and batch numbers, supporting traceability for every order. The final step is packing. Qualified beds are wrapped and packaged carefully, ready for shipment. Our packing protects the beds from scratches and damage during long-distance transportation, whether for domestic clients or overseas projects. From raw steel tubes to packed finished beds, every procedure follows strict quality standards. We focus on every detail to provide safe, stable and cost-effective medical folding beds for hospitals, clinics and care institutions worldwide.
